ASL Walk Breakfast Day 8. A few went AWOL and went out for eggs, bacon, pancakes, coffee, muffins, etc.

Six of us set-off from Davenport Roadhouse; it was cloudy and slightly cool. Perfect weather for a 17 mile walk!

Horse on Its Side. It lifted its head right after I took the picture. Yes, I too was glad to see it was alright!
A couple of us took a detour to find a john . . . we reconnected with the others and found we could then walk on a path that ran parallel to Highway 1. Awesome!

Yachting Time. Twas nice to see boats . . . missing Mapuana. : )
And this house reminds me of my Grandmother's house in Lakeland where there'd always be one of these parked in front.

New Brighton SP Camping. Nancy led us well; she found the trail through the bramble that brought us right to one of our 3 camp sites!

Susan Jane, you are such a good photographer!!! I am so enjoying your
pictorial essay of your journey, I feel like Iʻm there! Walking thru the
forests, by the sea shore, thru the small towns with their beautiful
architecture and all those fruit stands! Yum! Iʻm sure that you are having a
