ASL Walk Day 28 – The End is Near

First day of the walk at Ft. Baker, California

First day of the walk at Ft. Baker, California

Today is our last long walk–25-miles.

We’ve grown together like a family that in three days will disperse. But we won’t be leaving empty handed. Each one of us has picked up something unique from this journey.

What have I picked up? (besides the poison ivy? lol) Too much to say in the minute I have before it’s time to leave for our walk.

I do know that my eyes have been opened even wider to all the possibilities in life. I look forward to sitting down with you over tea or coffee (or wine or beer) and talking story. But for now, it’s time to get crackin’!!!

Aloha : )

I was remembering the 4-year old me when I celebrated my birthday in Daytona Beach Florida. The water was cold then too, but it didn’t stop me from going in and having a blast!!! It felt the same yesterday.
Thanks for taking some pictures. : )
      See you ALL again soon!
